The First RFQ Is High-Level
Use the initial email to establish component-manufacturing fit. Establish access, storage, transmission, and permitted-use controls before technical disclosure.
Name the part, quantity, controlling material or process, and required date. Specification fit is reviewed before capacity or timing is stated.
INITIAL EMAIL
Four fields are enough for the first decision.
- CAD, drawings, specifications, BOMs, or source files
- Controlled part details or customer identifiers
- CUI, classified, or export-controlled information
- NDA-protected or customer-restricted data
- Credentials, access tokens, or account details
- Any technical file
APPROVED PATH
