POLICY DMS-P / EFFECTIVE AUGUST 11, 2026
Specification Email Privacy
This notice explains how this static specification site and its user-directed RFQ email handle limited information.
Name the part, quantity, controlling material or process, and required date. Specification fit is reviewed before capacity or timing is stated.
Static Site and Email Boundary
The site does not collect a browser form submission. Its RFQ control prepares a message in the visitor’s email application.
Requirement Details You Email
The suggested message asks for a component, quantity, process or material, need-by date, and optional high-level specification or revision status. Email handling is governed by the sender’s and recipient’s email systems and any later written engagement.
Specification Review Uses
Information sent to the specification desk may be used to test requirement fit, identify missing controls, answer the request, maintain security, and retain appropriate business records.
Retention and access
RFQ records should be kept only as long as needed to respond, maintain appropriate records, meet legal obligations, and protect the service.
Manage Emailed Requirement Data
Use the originating specification email thread for applicable access, correction, or deletion requests. The requester may need to verify identity.
Protected data
Do not send CUI, classified, export-controlled, NDA-protected, proprietary technical files, credentials, controlled part details, or sensitive personal information in the first email.
